Parliament commence Next Week (16 July 2018)

LOOK OUT FOR SST BILL NEXT WEEK !

As the SST is to be tabled in the Parliamentary Sitting which commences on 16 July 2018. It is a very Exciting Week indeed for the Tax Professional, Accountants and Businesses.

Why so Exciting ?

Since the details of the NEW SST has not been announced. The only clue we have is that it will be an ENHANCED VERSION of the old Sales Tax Act 1972 & Service Tax Act 1975.We are all equally excited to grab the SST Bill to see what will be the final Tax Rate, Taxable Period, Scope of Coverage (ie. industries affected by SST) and the Tax Compliance needed.

Especially when the SST is expected to commence on 1st September 2018. There is very limited time to learn and implement SST.
